Have you ever been to Ebay?
You can find almost anything there and you can sell almost anything there.
It is lots of fun and can be used to promote your website. I myself need
to use this resource more. The times that I have placed items on ebay to
sell I have seen an increase of 500 hits a day to my site and if I had
more items to sell I am sure that it would be even higher. Then selling
is not the only way to get people to your site.
Ebay has an about me page
that you can use when you set up your account that will tell people whatever
you want to tell them. I use it to promote my sites and some of the special
offers I have available to them.
In addition to Ebay, there
are other online auctions that you can use in similar ways to help promote
your site; Ubid.com and Yahoo.com are among a few to look at. So go out
and place some of that stuff you have to sell online and promote your website
at the same time. I think you will see your website hits go way up.
