Branding is a long-term goal of every company. It takes a long time to achieve, howeveronce achieved it is a very effective. Branding is the image and experience you provide to the public on a regular basis. It is your identity, it is how you position your company and how your company positions itself. You want people to instantly identify your company in your market.

A of the biggest mistakes that companies make in todays market is changing their logos and slogans. Companies that are most effective at branding have never changed their logo or their slogan. Everytime a visit comes to your site they should see your logo and your slogan. By emphasizing them both on every page of the site it makes the impression deeper in the mind of your customer. Changing these breaks the bond between you and yoru customer and defeats everything you are trying to achieve.

The steps in developing an effective Branding plan are;
1. Research your competition.
2. Develop specific logo and slogan ideas to match your industry
3. Develop ways to test and research your ideas for potential effectiveness.
4. What methods will you use to brand your logo and slogan.

Branding Every Page

As we mentioned up above, branding every page of your website with your logo and slogan is very important in achieving long term customer relationships with your company. Many sites use a larger version of their logo on the main page of the site, with smaller versions of it on the interior pages. Your logo and slogan should be in the same location on everypage as well. By building your slogan into your logo. It is easier to place them both on everypage. We recommend that your logo and slogan be placed at the top of every page to the left side of the header, with your slogan just beneath or to the right of the logo.

For branding to succeed it is very important to follow these instructions on your website. By not placing your logo in a prominent location on the site you will lose the positive benefits that correctly branding will accomplish.
