Developing a Work Schedule
By Keith Lee

A work schedule or a to do list is the best way to keep yourself on track as to what you need to do next. With all the things you need to do on an ongoing basis, it can appear overwhelming at times and can lead to discouragement. This is how a work schedule can help. A work schedule is a daily to do list that can show you where to begin your day, what to do next and show you how much you are getting done.

A work schedule can dramatically improve your marketing efforts by providing you with up to date list of where you need to be with your efforts. An example of a daily work schedule would be the following;

  • Update main page of website
  • Send out link requests
  • Review Statistics (See Next Topic)
  • Start writing next weeks newsletter
  • Search for new material for website
  • Look into new marketing opportunities
  • Make Work Schedule for Thursday
Now that you have identified the things that you need to accomplish today, you can focus on each one until the list is complete. The last item on your list should be to create a new list for the next day. This way you can finish your day knowing that you did what needed to be done and also have your plan set for tomorrow. So now just go home and relax.

Post your work schedule in a prominent place where you can view it over the course of the day. Mine is on my computer screen all day so whenever I close a program, there it is.

Now, go forth and be productive.
